A little bit about the process we use in The Day 1. Experience


Good morning, Reader

I was talking yesterday with one of the women in The Day 1. Experience. (You'll meet her when you join us.)

She's exercising regularly for the first time in ages, currently training for a half marathon, and related quite a bit to the narrative of "Days 1-10" that I wrote about yesterday in my email. If you don't remember, this is how MY BRAIN used to operate:

Day 1. :: MASSIVE ENTHUSIASM about all of the MASSIVE CHANGES I would be making ::
Day 2. "Whoa, this is kind of uncomfortable.."
Day 3. "I wonder why I'm even bothering. This is taking up so much of my time. Before I started 'x' I was so much happier because (insert romanticized lie about my life)
Day 4-5. "I hate people who do stuff like this. I'm NOTHING LIKE THEM." (*Insert romanticized lie about everyone else and how doing these things I secretly wanted to do would actually make ME unhappy.)
Day 7. :: decides to either take a day off of exercise, or eats a piece of food that is 'bad' on a ridiculous unsustainable diet, decides to stop writing after a week streak, or something perfectly fine and normal ::
Day 9: Ohhh I fucked it all up already. What does it matter?
Day 10: "I'm a complete failure. I knew this wouldn't work for me."

Her reply was:

Jill currently works at her Alma Mater, so we sometimes use "university language" when we talk. We were talking about the idea that when it comes to their health, wellness, fitness, mindset, business, success, or anything else, people get lost.

They think that they can begin with 401 level material. In reality, you have to begin with FRESHMAN FOUNDATIONS.

And that's fine, right? Like, you know that. You're smart.

But to KNOW IT with your intellect and to really know it are different, because as we move through moment to moment, by Day 7. we are telling failure stories, and we don't really know why THAT BIG HUMP is so hard to pass over.

The Day 1. Experience is designed to move you over that hump in a beautiful way where you experience TRUE transformation. (Not what you *think* transformation feels like)

And it's VERY simple; it's so easy to execute.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

Well, first, there's the usual information. Last round, I built a course to present big grounding concepts in a simple way to help with foundational re-wiring of your Western mind. Here's some of the lessons you'll get to explore:

The second piece is The COMMUNITY, which is where we do our daily work. Don't worry- this will not take up HOURS AND HOURS of your time. I ask you commit a micro amount of time, with only ONE specific TASK required each day. If you give five to ten minutes per day, you'll have a whole different life in three months.

(*I know. Your brain probably is going NUTS trying to figure out how THAT will alter your whole world. JUST WAIT.)

LAST, and definitely not least, is our calls on Saturdays, which is where everything gets tied together in beautiful clarity.

We focus on what's up for you HERE and NOW.

So, unlike other "courses," this is a daily EXPERIENCE with many pieces. This is designed to cut you off at the pass whenever your old, bullshit beliefs try to take back over. WE EVEN HAVE A BULLSHIT BELIEF ARCHIVE for them to go to die.
